Frequency
Raising your frequency, without the spiritual homework
Raise your frequency gets said constantly and explained almost never, which leaves a lot of women feeling like there is homework they are failing. There is not. Underneath the language is something ordinary and useful: the state you are in changes what you tolerate, what you notice, and what you go after. That is the whole mechanism.

What the phrase is actually pointing at
Strip out the vocabulary and the claim is this: the state you live in determines what you accept. That part is not mystical and it does not require you to believe anything in particular.
When you are depleted, unslept, and lonely, a scrap of attention from someone who is barely trying can feel like a lot. When you are rested and your week has other things in it, the same scrap reads accurately, as barely trying.
Nothing about the other person changed. Your threshold did. Every practical benefit people attribute to raising their frequency runs through that one mechanism.
Why it comes up so much in love readings
Because waiting is corrosive, and most of the women asking me about a connection have been waiting a while.
Waiting narrows a life. Attention gets pulled to one unresolved question, and everything else quietly gets less. Sleep first, then friends, then the things you used to do for no reason other than liking them. It happens slowly enough that it is hard to notice from inside.
So when the advice is raise your frequency, what is usually meant is: get the rest of your life back, because you have accidentally given most of it to a question you cannot answer by thinking about it harder.
The five things that actually move it
None of these are spiritual and all of them work. This is close to what I actually say in readings when someone asks.
Sleep, first and unglamorously. Almost nothing else functions underneath a sleep deficit, and the anxious three in the morning version of a situation is never the accurate one.
Your body, in whatever form you will actually do. Walking counts. This is less about health than about being somewhere other than inside your own head for an hour.
One person who is not him. A friendship where the conversation is not about this situation. If every close relationship you have has become a status update on one man, that is the thing to change first.
Something you are mildly bad at. A skill, a class, anything with visible progress. It restores a sense of yourself as a person who does things rather than a person who waits.
Care that costs a little effort. The nails, the good sheets, the meal you actually cooked. Small, and it works because it is a rehearsal for being treated well.
What it will not do
It will not make someone call you. I want to be plain about this, because raise your frequency and he will come back is a common promise and it is not one I will make.
Someone else's decisions are not downstream of your inner state. Treating them that way turns every ordinary bad day into a possible reason he stayed away, which is an exhausting way to live and is not true.
What it will do is change what you accept while you wait, and what you decide when the answer eventually arrives. Those are the parts that were always yours.
Common questions
What does raising your frequency mean?
It refers to changing your internal state so that you tolerate less, notice more, and act differently. Practically it means being rested, connected to other people, and occupied by things other than one unresolved question. The mechanism is not mysterious: your state sets your threshold for what feels acceptable.
How do I raise my vibration in love?
Sleep properly, move your body in whatever way you will actually do, maintain at least one close relationship where the conversation is not about this person, do something you are mildly bad at so you feel like someone who progresses, and take care of yourself in ways that cost a little effort. Those five do most of the work.
Will raising my frequency make him come back?
No, and it is worth being suspicious of anyone who says it will. Another person's choices are not downstream of your internal state. What changes is what you accept while you are waiting and what you decide once you know. Those are genuinely valuable and they are also the parts that belong to you.
Why do I feel worse when I try to stay positive?
Because forced positivity is suppression, and suppression is tiring. If you are grieving something, the useful move is to let that be true rather than to perform a mood you do not have. A state built on pretending is not a higher frequency, it is just a heavier one to hold.
Is low vibration my fault?
No. Depletion is usually a reasonable response to circumstances rather than a character flaw. The framing that treats a low state as a personal failure adds shame to something already difficult, and shame is not a useful ingredient in getting your life back.

While you are waiting on an answer
Getting your own week back is the part you control. What is happening in the connection itself is the part you cannot see from inside it, and guessing at it is what takes the most out of you.
